 Opel presents V: A Celebration of 5 years of parties with purpose. We came into this not just to throw great parties. We started with the purpose of throwing benefits for such diverse groups as Seneca Center, the September 11th Children’s Fund, Greenpeace, Bay Area Girls Center, EnVironmental Defense, and a number of Burning Man art communities and projects. We were inspired to use the gathering to point towards evolution within the support of community. FiVe years later we find ourselves still pushing to build community, social change, inner inspiration, provide a platform for different artistic vehicles, cutting edge dance music, and high octane fun. For our anniVersary party, we’ll be bringing together all the elements that have flaVored our eVents over the years. An all out line up of local and international talent, fashion show of local designers pushing the future edge, a variety of performance and dance from members of the community, and lots of other goodies you won’t want to miss! The party: Infuse was born from a desire to fuse the values of the intentional parties of the underground, with the talent and production assets of the overground. It was also designed to be a party infused with consciousness, in which the gathering is a vehicle to build community, plant seeds of hope and social change, and nudge us to look inward to grow and challenge our own pain and fear that prevents us from fully living.
