Hope you’re doing OK amidst our Mad and sometimes sad world. You probably know that, as much as I sometimes think I should be like most every other promoter who ignores world events while pushing fun times, I just can’t.  Feels fake and disingenuine.  You read the news, or read enough to know what’s up. It’s f’cked. Innocent dancers gunned down at a festival in Israel (and many other atrocities). Then the inevitable retaliation claiming more innocent lives caught in the cross fire.  Hurts to look. Locally, many of you know a member of our community was a in a fatal accident Saturday, breaking many hearts. 💔

Not sure what else to say except to acknowledge and hold space with you. Honestly feels weird to be promoting parties right now, given all of it. But if you’re out there living life to your fullest despite it, or even because of it, How Weird St Faire is this weekend, and Opel will have a stage at 2nd & Howard and join one of the Official After Parties at Temple, right on the events ground.
