Opel, Temple, and Lot 49 presents…
Infuse –Love Rules, with Meat Katie & 30hz

In a time of war, it’s pretty awesome San Francisco gets to play host to an event that takes over the streets, the Civic Center plaza, and even City Hall to celebrate the values our country needs a lot more of :: tolerance, understanding, strength in diversity, the power of unity and yes- Love.
Only in the progressive city of SF, always ahead of the national curve, could this event happen. As a main stay of the city’s fun options, Opel is proud to throw our hat in the ring and make our own declaration and statement at this event – Love Rules. It sounds like hippy shit, but that doesn’t mean its not true. We are not going to hate or bomb or bully our way out of the world’s problems. To co-exist without domination that only serves to breed violence, we need to find love in our hearts for ourslves and our fellow human.
That’s what we have to say, and we will say it through music, dance, and community. We hope you join us….

Meat Katie (meatkatie.com / Lot 49, UK). Mark Pember aka Meat katie has long been a fixture on the breakbeat scene as both a DJ and producer, in the last few years his unique brand of tech-funk that takes influence from tech and tribal house, techno and electro, but with his trademark breakbeat feel, has really kicked off, with both house breaks djs sighting him as one of the most consistent players out there. His genre defying sound is also reflected in his DJ sets, which have seen him supporting the likes of The Chemical Brothers, Basement Jaxx, Death in Vegas, Ken Ishii and the Dubpistols, to name but a few. He has toured the world many times over and with his record label that he runs with Dylan Rhymes, Lot 49, he is pushing some of the freshest genre blurring sounds in the tech funk umbrella in the world.

30hz Tough electro edged breakbeat from Bristol UK. In the all too often bland
world of breaks 30Hz has a unique sound and style that sets him apart from
the crowd. Taking influences from techy drum & bass, electro and the hip hop
of his native America, 30Hz has built up his label Vertical Sound into one
of the leading breakbeat imprints, releasing artists such as Circuit
Breaker, Baobinga & Id, Smithmonger and of course his own productions. He
has also released on some of the biggest labels in breakbeat and electro
such as Supercharged, Satamile and Cyberfunk and his music has been featured
in everything from Xbox games to prime time UK television to BBC radio 1
airplay. Recently his analogue-heavy sound has caught the ear of breakbeat
supremo Meat Katie, and a series of singles for the mighty Lot49 label will
be in stores later this year.
