Friday, May 23rd. Syd Gris plays Ruby Skye 8 Year Anniversary with Tiesto. Tiesto comes into town for a 2 night SF appearance, starting Friday with Ruby, and then Saturday at the Cow Palace for ETD Pop (see below). Because he plays Saturday he's scheduled to play a shorter set than usual and Opel's own Syd Gris will take over from there. (Deep Voices featuring Dyloot will open). Saturday, May 24th (Second half of night). Opel recommends Opulent Temple fun-raiser : Dream this Dream @ Mezzanine. Having climbed out of a deep hole of debt, one of the premiere sound camps at Burning Man returns for another epic year in 2008. The OT will once again elevate their production and show case an unprecedented diverse range of world class talent. But, as always, only with the support of the community (since the BM org gives only paltry support to sound camps in comparison to those camp's contribution to the event). So come out and dream this dream with us at the large playground with the phat sound system that is Mezzanine. Featuring an all star local line up (and maybe some potential special surprises...) including Syd Gris, Felix the Dog, Smoove, Laird, Jondi & Spesh, Dirtyhertz, Eric Sharp, Fred Funk, Vinkalmann, and Atimatik. Saturday, June 28th. Opel presents Infuse: the Return (to Mission Rock!) After a 4 year hiatus from the original home of some of our first parties, and still some of our best ones, we think the time is right to return to Mission Rock. When we take over the place we go all out with music and vibe creation, for what will be a special night out. 4 areas of music, 2 of which are outside, including an opulent chill space, special deco and performances and just to make it sweeter, a sick line up! (of course...) Featuring 2 seminal producers in breaks, electro & beyond squaring off: Uberzone vs. Bassbin Twins. They'll be joined by an all star local line up with a little something for everyone.
