The annual Halloween Opel bash returns to celebrate the Living before the Day of the Dead!

The party Gods are with us on this one (or is it the party demons…) We had planned on rocking the same underground spot we had the last 2 years, but since then the po-po have been paying it too much attention and we could not risk our big night getting busted prematurely. SO! We hooked up Mezzanine and after being at a 99% confirmed we had the rug pulled out from under us at that one as well. Shit! Super last minute and with literally no other options besides cancelling the event (no f*#^ing way!), we were lucky enough to hook up the beefy surround EAW system with upgraded bass at Paradise Lounge.

Come get some Meat! Mark Pember, aka Meat Katie, has long been a pioneer of the UK breakbeat scene as both a producer and DJ. In the last few years his own developing sound of ‘tech funk’, taking influence from tech and tribal house, techno and electro, but with the trademark breakbeat feel, has launched his career to the the next level. His plays big, and knows the breakbeat scene in SF is among the biggest in the world. Expect him to bring it, alongside Lorin, who will be holding the second half of the night down sure to take it even higher, and all your other local heroes!
